The relative of last Russian tsar – the British prince Michael Kentsky will visit Kazakhstan next week

Astana. 14th of September. The British prince Michael Kentsky will visit Kazakhstan on 22-27th of September, reported an informed source to "Interfax-Kazakhstan" agency.

"Prince Michael Kentsky is expected to arrive to Astana from the city of Farnboro (near London) on 22nd of September where next day he will meet Minister of Education and Science, Minister of Internal Affairs, Astana akim, and also the prime minister of the country", - said the interlocutor of agency.

Besides, he has informed that on 24th of September Prince Michael Kentsky will arrive to Almaty (Alma-Ata) with private visit.

Michael Kentsky who is the cousin of the queen of Great Britain Elizabeth II and the grandnephew of last Russian emperor Nikolay II, is widely known as the great admirer of Russian culture and the philanthropist.

In particular, in 2004 the prince has founded welfare fund for target financing of socially useful projects in the sphere of public healthcare, education, preservation of cultural-historical heritage in Russia. The fund assisted victims of Beslan tragedy, children with oncological diseases, transferred means in medical institutions for purchase of the modern equipment, financed the organizations on protection of the rights of children, family and youth.
